Privacy notice
How Simply Staged collects and uses personal information when you visit our website, book a staging pack or contact us. Last updated October 2026.
Who we are
Simply Staged is a trading name of Rodano Interiors Ltd, a company registered in Scotland (company number SC749849), registered office Clyde Offices, West George Street, Glasgow G2 1BP. We are the controller of the personal information described here.
For any question about your information, or to use your rights, email hello@simply-staged.co.uk.
What we collect
- Booking details: your name, email address, mobile number, company name, your role (for example estate agent or landlord), and any notes you add.
- Property details: the address and postcode, how we get in (keys from an agent, a lockbox code, or someone meeting us), and the install and collection dates.
- Payment and invoice records: what you bought, the amounts, VAT and payment status. Card details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout; we never see or store your full card number.
- Messages: what you send through our contact form or by email, and our replies.
- Condition photos: photos of each room after installation, as a record of the furniture's condition. They show the property, not people.
Where it comes from. Mostly from you. If an estate agent or other business books for a property, they give us the property address and access details, and may give us the owner's or occupier's name if someone will meet our team.
We don't use analytics or tracking tools on our website, and we don't send marketing emails.
How we use it
Data protection law requires a legal reason for each use. These are ours:
| What we do | Legal reason |
|---|---|
| Take your booking and payment, confirm the install date, install, extend and collect | Performing our contract with you |
| Send booking emails: confirmation, provisional date, the reminder 7 days before collection, extension and collection updates | Performing our contract with you |
| Issue VAT invoices and keep accounting records | Legal obligation (tax and VAT law) |
| Take condition photos and use them if there's loss or damage | Legitimate interests: protecting our furniture and settling claims fairly |
| Use installed-room photos to show our work, without the address | Legitimate interests: promoting our business. You can opt out under clause 3.8 of our terms |
| Ask once for a Google review after collection, with one reminder | Legitimate interests: building our reputation. Reply "stop" and we won't ask again |
| Answer enquiries sent through the website or by email | Legitimate interests, or steps before entering a contract |
| Keep our systems and booking management page secure | Legitimate interests: security |
We don't use your information for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. The postcode checker simply tells you whether we cover your area.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information. We share it only with service providers who handle it for us under contract, and with others where the law requires.

Outside the UK. Some of these providers store or access information outside the UK, including in the European Union and the United States. How long we keep it
| Information | How long |
|---|---|
| Bookings, invoices and payment records | 6 years from the end of the financial year they relate to, as tax law requires |
| Access details (lockbox codes, key arrangements) | Deleted within 30 days of collection |

| Enquiries that don't lead to a booking | 12 months |
| Emails with customers | As long as the booking records they relate to |
Photos we use to show our work don't include the address and aren't linked to you.
Cookies
Our website uses only the cookies it needs to work. The booking steps keep your details in the page itself, not in cookies. Our team's sign-in to our booking management page uses a cookie, and Cloudflare may set a security cookie to protect the site from attacks. Stripe's checkout also sets cookies it needs to process payments securely and prevent fraud. We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, so there is nothing to opt in or out of.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct it if it's wrong;
- ask us to delete it, where we don't need to keep it;
- object to our using it, or ask us to limit how we use it;
- ask for the information you gave us in a format you can take elsewhere.
To use any of these, email hello@simply-staged.co.uk. We'll reply within one month. We may need to keep some records, such as invoices, where the law requires.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first at hello@simply-staged.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
